raclie, Todays top discussions I think changes it's set of discussions every hour. And Hot Discussions doesn't really change the set. The discussions are only removed there if it is older than 24 hours. Have a nice day!

The top's discussion is indicate a discussion which been respond by many members in short time. So you can't stay any longer on there. Because every second there are new discussion been created. For hot discussion, you can stay for a long time, because it see from your discussion that been respond by many members in a day. So if your discussion is being respond by many people but with far interval time. So your discussion will be shown on hot discussion box bit not in top discussion box. Keep post Happy myLotting...

I believe if you are on hot; you have more than one day at top. Today's top is just what it says. Hope that helps. Please kindly mark beneficial if it does. Thanks.

I don't know either. I just respond to discussions as they hit my in-box, from my friends. I have hundreds of friends, and all of their notifications are turned on, so I get a lot of discussions, so many that I don't even need to look at hop and top. I will venture a guess that hot may be on intersting topics, and that top is related to most responses.
