Will we ever have violent movies like we did before?

In the vein of the late 80s-mid 90s: The Last Boy Scout, Die Hard 1-3, Lethal Weapon, Tango & Cash, New Jack City, King of New York, etc. It seems as if Hollywood has shunned away from this style of filmmaking for PG-13 cookie cutter crap (i.e. Live Free or Die Hard). The old school style had some class to it and felt realisitic, although back then it wasn't accepted that often but I believe now it is more appreciated thanks to all the garbage hollywood is churning out. Do you think we will ever see a return to these types of movies?
