Who has decided 18 years age as legal age of adult?

I have to admit that I never really thought about it. I would imagine that that's the age that the law seemed to agree that we were old enough to take full responsibility, as an adult.

Hi. sachinbhinge. The law is the one that decides that 18 years of age, is the appropriate age that an young adult should be held liable for anything lawful or unlawful that they may commit in life.

hmm the physical maturity is attained in both sexes a lot earlier ..However in general the motional maturity takes a longer time.................In generalpsychs felt/feel that most people attain e maturity by the time tehy are 18:) not theat evone of us does ....but thats wat prompted them to use 18 as the legal age instead of having to spen millions on tests for emotional maturity/eq every ywar:)
