AC Moore has a $5 of coupon (for a total purchase of $25 or more) coupon in their flyer. The coupon is good only tomorrow (sunday 9/21). They also have a 40% any one regular priced item. The 40% off coupon is good from Sunday the 21st through Saturday 9/27. AC Moore has added some great new beads and jewelry making supplies and they have a nice 25% off on several eco-friendly yarns. I believe these coupons are also good for online purchases.

That doesn't help much then. I usually receive a Michael's flyer in the local mailers and we often have a 40-50% off coupon in the flyer. If you can ever use the Michael's coupon, let me know. If I'm not using it, I can mail it to you. If you're ever looking for a few great jewelry suppliers, let me know. I use one that puts the supply stores to shame (some of the same stuff as Michael's but at a much deeper discount than they sell for) I used to spend an hour or more in Ac Moore's and Michael's supply aisles. I'd go on my lunch break or after work and spend a couple of hours selecting glass beads. This company send me catalogs, so I now shop from home and the catalog is much more extensive than what Michael's or AC carries. I spent $50 on my last order, received free Fed Ex shipping and had I bought the same amount of beads at Michael's, I would have spent almost $150. Now when I go to Michael's, I "cherry-pick" through their sale items and odd-ball supplies that I think I can use later in the year.

Our A C Moore is closing the end of the year. I have been to their 40 to 60% off and the prices are still higher than Micheals. Also they didnt take it off every item like they say they do. So I dont know if I will go back before they close or not

Wow, I didn't hear the AC Moore was closing stores. I wonder if it's just an isolated store closing. I liked AC Moore because they offered a secondary jewelry component selection compared with Michaels and when I needed something quick I have Michaels and AC about 5 minutes apart from each other. I do have to admit that Michaels has more of what I'm looking for and I usually buy my components online from component companies. Many of the comapnies that supply Michaels & AC with inventory have their own catalogs. By cutting out the middle man (Michaels & AC Moore) I save so much money when I buy online and I'll often receive bigger discounts when I buy several items. Plus when they backorder an item, they'll ship it when it's back in stock. I'll have to keep an eye on the AC that I have near work, maybe I can pick up some nice bargains if they should shut there doors. Thanks for responding!

I know what you mean. I try to keep my expenses down by buying online also. But it's nice to know that if I run out of something, I can always run over to AC Moore or Michaels on my lunch break and grab what I need. Thanks for your response!

Yes, it is only certain stores. It is just bad because so many craft stores right in that area have gone! There are none in my rural town, just Walmart. Yes, I used to do woodcrafts as a business and I ordered most of my components online too if the prices were too high in the retail. I did try to buy often from the local stores to keep them in business also.
