The Cash-Crate Scam

“Get paid to complete offers!”….. and suffer the consequences that come with them. Now let me first say that this site does, in fact, pay you. But in order to make any real money, it's like trying to reenact Indiana Jones in the boulder scene from "Raiders of the Lost Ark", you'll have to step on a lot of painful thumbtacks to get your hands on the loot. When I first started, my check was about $7.00. I did this by completing a lot of surveys and similar offers. My second check was $88 and change. For my second outing on CashCrate, I completed a few free trial offers along with some surveys. You can imagine how happy I was when I received it, but I soon came to realize the ugly truth. Yes, you need a couple of email accounts. Yes, you will get phone calls. Yes, you need to delete cookies. But YES, they pay. How, then, does that make it a scam?

Do some research into some of the offer's people fill out. "free offers", are not exactly free if you look into the long-run of things. I've known people that fill out just about all of them. Make $150+ & then pay about $170+ in bills because of things they were secretly signed up for within a given offer. Most popular one's are the one's where it's like. "Yeah, give us your cellphone number.", people do this and get $0.40. Wait a few months or a month given you particular cell plan. *call's cell-phone company* "What's this $9.99 charge i've been getting each month?" "According to this it tell's us you've signed up with this cellphone ringtone service." "Oooh that cashcrate, such deceitful trickery I say!" If all their offer's were legit & didn't have hidden "agreement's" in them then Cash Crate wouldn't be a bad place. Almost every offer's site does this & it's probably why I never really reach payout. I only filled out offer's that I knew wouldn't spam me forever, harrass me on the phone forever, or secretly charge me money or give me adware/spyware/etc(Which can result in more money out of pocket and more hassle from stolen identity to fixing your computer because of problem's downloading something or visiting a given webpage caused.) Would you really still think that $1.00 for the cost of $20.00 is still worth it and that this is not in fact, a scam still? By definition CashCrate isn't "scamming" you as they do pay but you get robbed by the offer's that they support & allow within their site. So it's not scamming necessarily but you still get majorly screwed over by cashcrate & their deceitful wording & not completely 100% honesty about a given offer.
