Hello!!About a week ago I was reading this article about the effects of nuts on childhoos asthma. Did you know that pregnant women who eat nuts or nut products every day during the pregnancy period could be increasing their unborn child's chance of developing asthma by up to 50%? Do you know anything about this topic ????

Guess I got lucky then. My mom ate so many chocolate peanutbutter cups while she was pregnant she thought I'd come out black(this is not meant as an insult to any race, just a joke my mom told me about her cravings during pregnancy). I've never had athsma at all. Just ear problems, but now days they think that ear problems can be caused by parents smoking around a child. I think that scientist think that everything is dangerous at some point, then they prove it isn't. Who knows what really is or not.

The gynecologist had advised my wife not to eat any type of nuts during pregnancy. So this might be the reason behind his advice.

I had something about this . My husbands aunt used to swear that what we ate during pregnancy did contribute to illenss our children would deveope when they were born . She also used to say that if you fed a child a food to young they would develop an allergy for this food when they were older . Every one of her children she fed foods to that they now say you shouldn't ( at the time she had her children they were not considered unsafe ) has a allergy to that particular food .
