In a way, the invention of the wheel set technology in motion. Technology has mostly been responsible for advancement and progress, mostly geared towards bettering man's living conditions and improving the quality of his life. Unfortunately, this has not been the case all along. The impact of technology made itself largely felt with the Industrial Revolution. A phase of increased mechanization followed, which intensified man's dependence on machines for his welfare and well being. Does the technology really pose a threat or have facilitated man's tasks and made his life more comfortable?
