wondering about mylot stars

until today it is my 3rd day in mylot and i some answers that i need to know about mylot. the question are : 1) what is mylot stars? i saw many mylotters have stars at their small photo in discussions. there is a number in the star like 9, 10, 1 etc. what is it actually and does it mean something? 2) how can i have my star too? if i have the star does it increase my earning per post that i made? 3) how can i earn at least $0.50 from mylot per day? what are the criteria does it takes to make at least $0.50 from mylot? does it come from the length of our post? or maybe the post amount for the day? i hope all mylotters can help me to answer my question. i want to work hard to earn from mylot. thanks in advance and happy mylotting
