What was your dream when you were just a child?

"I want to become a doctor!" this is what my mom always hear when I was 6 years old. At the age of 7 or 8, I began changing my mind. Instead of thinking about becoming a doctor someday, I told my mother that becoming a priest was on my mind and she immediately laughed. When I was a kid, I used to create a boundary between real and unreal. Some things that we thought about as children are not really possible. What did you dream to be when you were a child? and why?

Sometimes when I think back, it was just a child's dreams! Fortunately they didn't materialise! When I was 7-8 years old, I wanted to be a ballerina. Apparently I was too clumsy or rather, not feminine enough! Then I wanted to be a teacher, a doctor. When I was in my teens, I decided that I didn't like teachers, and being a doctor was too much work! From that time onwards, I didn't have any ambitions, except that to pass all my exams, and get into college.

When I was around 7 or 8, I wanted to be a ballerina. My mom didn't allow me to take lessons so I had to scratch that dream. Then I said I wanted to be either a teacher or a lawyer. But my first choice has always been a lawyer. In a way, I wanted to change the world in my own little way. I wanted to help people. Up to this time, I still want to be a lawyer and have plans of taking up law in the near future. At least I was able to reach one of my dreams... that is to be a teacher... Although I don't exactly "teach". I train people and mold them to become better speakers. So I guess, in a way, I am able to change the world in my own little way.
