do you know the people who smile at you while passing by?

i have this odd feeling that becuase somehow i have a lot of friends and there are a lot of persons who happen to know me, at times when we meet by chance or accident while passing by, i would really doubt if i know the person i met// hehe.. in return, i would also smile back.. and then tried to recall who was that person...hehe..

i also do not know the majority of people that i smile at in the course of a day. i tend to smile at people when i make eye contact- i just feel it is the nice thing to do. :)
