Do you get angry at yourself?

There are times when you want to accomplish some things but due to certain circumstances, you do not get to accomplish any. There are also times when you want to be the best that you can be but realize later on that you are just within the average. When these happen to you, do you get angry at yourself? Do you scold yourself? Well, I do that sometimes and I find myself more dedicated to what I would really want to do after that. Do you feel the same way?

Hi dolce_vita, Yes I do get angry with myself sometimes and I have to try harder or ask myself why can't do better. Its just life I suppose, but we never give up just keep going. Tamara

me, too. I get mad when i commit mistakes. It's really hard for me to go on. But I realized we don't have choice but to move on and make our way to be. Thanks.

yeah, i got angry with myself. Usually when i got angry with myself...i face the big mirror and upon that mirror..i will look mysef sharply and begin scolding..like some of my phrases " what happen to you"? why are you like that? Can you make a change? your not making your life better, your making your life miserale? sometimes, i deprived myself to be happy when i get angry i stay alone in the room.

Hello dolce. I do not get angry with myself, but I am not happy with myself sometimes if I do not do the job well. I love to be perfect, though it is hard to.

Yes of course I get cross woth myself lol many times,but it only lasts for a short time and then I will make up with myself again lol if I have done something silly or mislaid domething and cannot put my hand on it then i get very cross with myself.But im sure that its very common and that there are many of us who get cross and frustrated with ourselves.

Yes, i feel this way too.Sometimes i got mad at myself why i was acting like this and that.I can't help it.There were things that we had done that we regreted we did later.But its too late to stop.I also got mad of myself being too kind and giver that sometimes nothing left for myself but problems.But thats me, i wish i can control it.

Ya some time i feel that thing i was expecting from myself has not completed so I got Angry that time . Also I get Angry myself on my lazy nature

yes sometimes and that makes me swear I won't make the same mistake again in a way I become more cautious and that's a good thing because carelessness is costly sometimes

I do sometimes get mad at myself. I sometimes become insensitive that I already hurt the feelings of others. Just when I knew is when they dont talk to me anymore and I ask my other friend why is it he/she dont talk to me. So I approasch my friend and say sorry for what I said that makes him/her mad at me. I sometimes hurt the feelings of my boyfriend unintentionally. Well, he has rules and regulations on me that I sometimes breaks. LOL!!! I'm a bit brat... LOL!!! but I make it up to him and really sorry for what I did to him...

I know my limitations and I think that even if we do our best, it is just the average. Nonetheless, I don't get angry at myself as I did my best anyway. Well there are times when I get angry at myself when I make careless mistakes, but I also do try to learn my mistakes and try not not to make the same mistakes again.

lots of time i anger when i do any urgent work and i get distarp and many time when iwas fail in any work.and i will try to keep cool but i cant contro on me and i start fighting with people.many time i will have to face gib problem by my anger style

its a natural thing.ofcourse when i don't succeed in exams or not able to be upto the expectations of other it really hurts me and i get angry at myself and then lift myself up and better get going

you should get tensed for such a small thing and you will sure get a another time to accompish the thing ,there is always a another chance and forget the thing because by remembering the thing it will make you tensed and you cannot change your past and take your steps to make your future brighter .

Yes, it happens sometimes that I get angry on myself. Specially when things do not go my way or the way I expected. Then I find, it is of no use to get angry.....because some happenings cannot be 'undone'. I just try to adjust with the situation and if there is scope for any rectification, I just go for it. I feel there is always chances to improve upon certain happenings. If I commit a mistake, I make myself understand that the mistake should not be repeated, at any cost.

Yes, i do get mad and angry at myself at times because there are certain things that are not in my control. A situation like that makes me feel very helpless and i hate to feel helpless. When i am intrested in a certain thing i want it to work according to me and if it dosnt i cannot take it and i start to get angry at myself. Dont gt me wrong, not that froce people to work according to me. things that i can do better and that i know that i can excel at it but then i dont perform that great, it simply dicourages me.

Hi! I don't feel angry at myself but just disappointed whenever I don't get to accomplish my goal. I feel frustrated and sad but that doesn't stop from trying again next time. I also don't compete to be the best or above average but what I'm after for is the reward of feeling satisfaction after every accomplishment. Ciao!

Yes, I always get angry at myself and sometimes people misunderstood me and thought that I am angry at them. So I am learning ways of not putting to high of a target everyday and let everything progress gradually before I set a high target. This is a very unhealthy habit and sometimes it will lead to depression and low self-esteem if you keep bashing myself. So, I am learning to not take myself too seriously. ^^

yes,sometimes indeed i do feel in this way.i can't finish something or achieve somthing,can't get the goal i had persued,in this circumstance,i feel depressed,angry with myself for not accompolish things.but scolding can't solve anything i need to come on and move on.

Of course i do get angry of myself sometimes but not I already hated myself so much. I do talk to myself why i did not reached my goal or purpose. There must be a certain reason. But you know, we are not in a perfect world so why stress yourself. There are other things you can do better. Donot punish yourself because of failure. There is always a second chance or other great opporutnities for all of us. Just like what you've said, your failure or dismayed results a positive attitude for you because you strive better. That's good for you.
