Is US acting as the world police?

There should be someone to coordinate the whole nations except for the UN. Then y not it be the most powerful country?What do you think?

If the UN won't do it, shouldn't someone act to stop the atrocities of the world. The UN stood by during the genocide in Yugoslavia and Rwanda. Even with peacekeepers in the country, they were not allowed to act to prevent the killings. So, if you find a country willing to step in, shouldn't the other countries shut up if they aren't willing to act themselves?
