who hates it when their parents become presumptuous?

I'm 19 now turning 20 on November and I still have to tell my parents all of what's happening to me. Where I go and everything else. When I ask permission from them to go to a friend's house, they become presumptuous and I don't like it when they become that. They tell me all kinds of stuff like they were psychics and all. I don't like it when people become presumptuous but sometimes I also understand that they do that then I just accept what they say.
How about you? What do you feel when your parents or friends tell you things and become presumptuous in some situations?

Yes it is really annoying when parents started to act like paranormal and tells us things that no one would ever know, the future. LOL, but they can't help it, I should tell myself about that over and over again so that I can start to understand their feeling.
Trust me that parents, especially mothers, have this kind of thing named 'mother intuition'. It is there as the bond that connect you and your parents since you were born. It is there whether you are close or not with them, sometimes people just don't realize it when they don't have a harmonious relationship with the parents, but they actually have it. And the mother intuition, is the thing that made them act like that.
That's how I tried to understand and tell them that everything is gonna be alright so I should ask them not to be worried about me, and that is how they really learn things about me and started to trust me as an adult.
