Hi friends!!! As and by days are passing by and slowly year 2008 is dawning, a thought came to my mind to recollect all the resolutions that i made in the beginning of the year with a full zeal to follow them... Speaking about myself i have started working upon on several of them, have not followed a couple of my resolutions and have successfully followed some resolutions... Resolutions are tough to make and more tougher to follow!!!! What about you guys? Where do you rate yourself in achieving or following your resolutions? Are you ready with your new resolutions for coming new year? happy myLotting to all!!!!

Not exactly but tried to follow. In the middle position of evry yr remind me that my age is increased. Thats why i planned evry yr when its coming, what thing or work i have to be done. But resolutions are tough to make thats wy i dont follow always. I rated myself in the middle in achieving. Yah i m always ready with my new resolutions for the coming year.

Hi mhrmasum... Thanks for sparing sometime to respond. Resolutions are really tough to follow.. and that is the reason i make only those resolutions which i think can be followed by me.. It is nice to know that you are ready with your new resolutions coming your way soon..... All the best... Cheers!!!!!

I don't believe in making new year resolutions unless I intend to break them . For me life has been too unpredictable to make a resolution and follow it. Instead I have decided to take one day at a time and see how it goes, but yes I do have some promises I have made to my self like always being there for my wife when she needs me and always love her, even more than myself, no matter what happens. This is what keeps me going and gives me strength to face each day. You are right, resolutions are tough to make and even tougher to follow, but if you make the right ones and are supported by your loved ones then it becomes that much more easier. Happy Myloting.

Hey joy4you... I agree, resolutions are meant to be broken... . I think making promises to oneself and then fulfilling them are the same as making resolutions. I highly appreciate and respect your promises. Good going buddy!!!! Loving the person who holds a very special place in your heart is the biggest strength in one's life... Even when i think of the person whome i love the most gives me immense strength and faith to face every situation in my life. Thanks a lot for responding.... Happy myLotting...

For once I actually did follow up on my resolution which was to get into shape. I have always been thin but never really fit. Since January, I have gone from barely being able to do a beginner's workout to doing advanced workouts. My body fat is down my body shows definition for once in my life, and I can do a 60 minute cardio workout without gasping for breath. I think this was one of the most important resolutions I ever made because I am in my 40's and it's now or never to get into top shape. I am in the best shape of my life and I love to see the muscles developing and tightening and the jiggle gone! I doubt I will quit exercising now. I like it too much and it makes me feel great. To think I avoided it all these years! My resolution was also to get healthier and I'm working on that too with a better diet, vitamins, stress reduction, and working with my doctor to be sure all is well.
