Last night i posted a discussion simply to THANK you ALL for the blue star before my name. I was able to receive three congratulatory message from dear friends here at mylot. This morning I was so excited to log-in to mylot for I'm still expecting some other friends to greet me. As I was about to comment to dolce's greetings, I wasa so DISAPPOINTED, my discussion about my blue-star-happiness was deleted by mylot because of guideline violations!?!? WHY?! Which part of the guidelines I violated? I don't know but mylot should either review the guidelines or check the system.
THANK YOU ALL.

hey mjm! sorry to hear about your discussion being deleted. there is actually a rule about that- i only know because out of curiosity i was looking through them the other night and remembered seeing this one when i saw your discussion. lol it's actually the very last one on the list- it says (under don'ts) "start discussions promoting a milestone, such as birthdays, anniversaries, reaching a certain myLot rating, etc. This is best celebrated via private messaging with your myLot friends." i think it is pretty stupid, myself. it is not like it's a bad thing that you are talking about, not to mention i have seen other discussions exactly the same that did not get deleted. but sorry to say it is there. :( but i will still congratulate you on your blue star... that's awesome! :)

Okay now , I get it. But it's just ridiculous, personally. I just don't understand how come the site is prohibiting such act when it should have been interpreted as an encouragement for other members to work harder to merit stars. Thanks a lot my Friend!
