Hey there! So, I just signed up for Associated Content and i have written 3 articles so far. the first one was submitted 8 days ago and i still have not heard anything. all 3 articles still say "submitted" next to current status and it feels like it's been that way forever. How long does it typically take for them to review them?

Hi aquarina, Based on the reviews I've submitted so far, it takes them about four or five days to publish an article. Sometimes longer. I guess with the number of people submitting articles, they're having a hard time reading all of it. If after a couple more days, there is no change in status, you can send them an email.

yes, i'll prob wait a little longer and them send them an email. Another question... People are talking about receiving "upfront payments".... does that mean they pay you before your article is published? I havent received any kind of payments yet. but i remember checking a box or something to be eligible for upfront payment. lol... i dont really know what that means. i just hope these articles i wrote get published. i think they are pretty good. lol

As far as I know, upfront payments are given once your articles get published. But you have to be living in the US to get that. Aside from the upfront payments, you can also get the PPM payments.

Hi Aquarina, my experience with them is that they take around 3 - 10 days to review. Once they have accepted, the status would change to 'Published'. Good luck and happy writing!
