I usually take a novel and a magazine with me when I go traveling. I always take a travel guide book with me. The novel is often one chosen because it is apt for my trip. Like I read a novel set in Africa when I went to Kenya. I read a novel about the Pacific Islands when I was in Australia. I enjoy reading and also exploring.

No I never take a novel with me when I am travelling . If we go any place it is to see family and friends and I don't want to waste my precious time visiting with them by reading when I can do this at home . We have never travelled anywhere just to visit or explore a new place but if we did I would not take a novel with me then either because again I would not want to waste what little time I had to do this reading when I could do this at home and would regret wasing my time on rather then exploring the place I had visited . I would regret not taking all the pictures I wanted and the reason I would be travelling would be to experience something new and different , to get away from the norm and to have fun :)

Yes, I'm in the habit of keeping a book with me whenever I travel. It depends how much time I get and I read accordingly. When its a reunion with the family then I keep it aside, read it only on the way during travelling. Happy mylotting!

I usally bring a book with whenever I tavel. Although I also love to explore and I really do try to get out and visit new places when I'm in a new place. I just bring a novel along for when I'm bored or when I need to kill some time like when I'm waiting for my flight, or during the commute to somewhere where it might take a while to get there or when I need to wind down before I go to sleep. I such a bookworm so I usully have a book with me and at the same time I also like to go out and have some fun!

Hi Seeths, if it is a day trip, then I wouldn't take any books with me. If I'm going stay overnight, then I would definitely take one or two books. I am in the habit of reading books before I sleep; and if I'm waiting at the airport or some place, I would at least have a book to read.
