How Many Friends Is Too Many?

Here is a thought. Have you ever counted the number of friends you currently have an active relationship with? I am not talking about work friends, unless you hang out with them outside of work. How many friends do you have? How many friends do you hang out with when you go out for a social outings?? How often do you hang out with your friends??? And finally, how many friends is too many friends????

I am a student now. Most of my friends are my classmates. We usually go out for shoping ,and sometimes we have climebed a mountain to enjoy the nature.We go to KTV whenever there's somebody's birthday.I never thought my friend are too many. I regard it as a resource of psychological satisfaction .

Thats a great answer. I don't think my friends are too many either, but I guess I also wonder how well we can develop friendships if we're always going out with different people. Still, I see your point and after thinking back to my college days, I was much the same way...guess I just don't have the energy I did 10 years ago to keep up with everyone.
