i hate myself

I used to hate myself badly. For most of my life actually. Now I am 53 years old and have finally discovered the truth about life, which makes me a very special person just like we all are, including you, and now I know that I am very valuable and worthwhile, just like you are, no matter what I look like or how stupid I sound when I talk or useless I feel. I tried to kill myself when I was in grade 4! That's how low my self esteem was. I assume you are much younger than me, and I would like to give you this advice: don't waste your life hating yourself. Look at the blue sky, the green trees, the warm sun - they were all put there for you. Look for things that make you smile. Get a puppy. Count the people that love you. Cheer up and realize that nothing matters. Life is a game and it's supposed to be fun. Have fun!

Everyone has certian traits about themselves that they don't like. Some people don't like their body or their hair or how short/tall they are. but saying that you HATE yourself is very extreme. This isn't good for your self image and self confidence. You'll constantly feel down and misurable when you think that way. Each morning you should get up and look in the mirror and tell yourself 1 (one) thing that you LIKE about yourself. Something different each day. This will start making you feel better and the better you feel, the more you'll notice that you can get a handle and fix the things you don't like.

Hmmmm interesting most people ask what you like most about yourself. I try not to have a negative attitude about myself becuase then it affects you whether you like it or not so let me ask you this is there anything at all that you like about yourself.

Hopefully, you were just coming up with a random discussion. I would hate to think that you actually hate yourself. No one should hate themselves, we all have a beauty, gift and song that are unique to us. Of course, the frivolous, superficial stuff can get to us now and again, but we should always remember... mind over matter, or like I say.. "Never mind, it doesn't matter". Whenever "crap" has me feeling funky inside, I remind myself of that. I know one good thing about ya.. you have access to the internet and that in itself opens an amazing world of opportunity and diversity to you. There are still millions without the opportunity to search the internet highways and biways. Anyway, my suggestion (if you do hate yourself)... every morning, look in the mirror and say "you gorgeous son-of-a-b****, don't you ever die on me!" :D
