As native speaker, we can remember the new word or idiom in our own language through repeated reciting and using in familiar language atmosphere. but things different for a second language. Have you had some great ideas on remember a new second language? waiting for more sharing on mylot.

Repeated reciting or usage og the word is the most effective way of learning ang remembering. Learning a second language or a foreign language is just the same as learning our native language. The only problem with a second language is that we don't use it often so to be able to learn faster, use it as often as possible. LEt me also add a tip in memorizing confusing words or words that are hard to spell... write it down over and over until you have memorized it. Good luck!

you write a word in a little piece of paper, in one side, you write the word, the conjugations if its a verb and a correct sentence. in the other side, you write the same but in your mother language. you take the piece of paper and learn it, the next day, you take it again and say it all without reading. if you know it, do it again in a week; if you dont remember, relearn it, and remember it the next day: if you remember, in a week, if you still remember in a week, try 2 weeks, and so on, until in a month without reading the paper you have learned the word.. words are hard to learn and you always need to read it over and over. i know the peace of paper is a bit complicated but it is one of the best ways to learn words.. just remembering the same word and relearn it! just remember: write it, learn it, remember it, learn it again if necessary, and repeat it over and over again!! tons of luck!
