Has last day preparations helped you?

Have you ever managed to get good marks studying the day before exams? I keep postponing things and find myself in deep trouble the day before exams. I feel I can complete it in a day but have never ended up getting good marks doing that. However most of my friends have managed to do so. What about you? Do you study from the beginning or wake up all night the previous day?
