My daughter wrote her first piece of music

My daughter (13) plays percussion in the school band. They have been practicing a couple songs for a concert and my daughter thought the percussion part was very dull. She asked the teacher if she could make something up for it and she agreed. So Jessica made up her own piece to go with the song. Now they are copying it for the rest of the percussionists to play and the teacher has asked her to make another piece as well. I can't wait to see them perform the pieces of music she made!
