i often get bad dreams in my sleep and woke up pray to the god and i will sleep again and what will do

I sometimes have bad dreams, and I sometimes end up thinking about them for several weeks after they happen!
For example, I had a bad dream about going to university last night which has made me think that I no longer want to go, even though I know that it would be the best thing for me to get some qualifications.

i dont get bad dreams often but once i got really bad dream and suddenly woke up from my bed and didnt sleep for long time
