Review Stream vs Associated Content upfront payments

I just started with associated content 2 days ago and I've been reviewing for review stream for about 1 week now. I'd like to ask people who have received upfront payments from AC if they pay more than 2 dollars for reviews. I've submitted 1 review (exclusive) and 4 articles/tips (non exclusive) and I haven't heard from them yet (I know - it takes longer). I'm just wondering because with reviewstream it literallytakes me 10 minutes to write 200-250 words and I'm practically guaranteed 2 dollars, while Associated Content articles need at least 400 and have to be of higher quality. this then takes me about 2-3 times as long to write and I don't even know if they'll pay me more than $2. Anyone have any opinions on this? By the way, I travel fairly often (10-12 times a year), so I have a laundry list of hotels, airlines, locations and restaurants to review - I've literally started making a list! While it's certainly easy to knock out 250 words or so, it gets boring and my brain dries up after a while (not to mention there's the real job!) I'm really curios because I'd like to just do 1 site and either: a) try to concentrate on making that huge reviewstream pay-out by doing up to 3-4 reviews per day or b) produce better quality reviews at AC, and earn both upfront and possible performance payments. Also, I'll keep writing discussions about my experiences with both - so add me to your friend's list if you want to know how it turns out!

i have tried writing for reviewstream but all my reviews have returned to me rejected. i don't really know why. i think i have written good and honest reviews. after trying a few times i have lost heart. i mean to try again one of these days using a different email. that might break the negative spell. can you share with me some tips in writing a review? have you ever made payout with AC? i'd also would like to write for them but the money matters seem shady and achieving payout seems so far down and a little bit complicated. i dunno. i probably just didn't get it. i didn't really read all the details while i was visiting the site. anyways, good luck with your online writing career. same goes to me, i think.

Hi there, I know how you feel - you feel bad when you get rejected. So far all of my reviews have been accepted, but I'm also scared because I've heard some bad stuff about people almost reaching pay-out and then having their accounts suspended. Let's see...did you write at least 200 words? I make my reviews 250 words, just in case. What are you writing about? The website says that travel, electronics and medicine are the most popular reviews. Like I mentioned I travel a lot, so I have lots of experiences I can write about. I make it sound like a story..."I went to a conference in Austin and stayed at the the Clarion Hotel. I arrived late at night but, the desk clerk was nice and gave me some coffee while I waited...when I went to the room, the bathroom was dirty.." if you want to post a sample review, I can do some critique.

well, i don't really have a lot of traveling experience but i did write something about this resort that i had so much fun staying in. i might send it to you once i've decided to write something for them. that rumor seems awful. i hope that's not true coz we don't want our effort to go to waste. it's not easy to write about something, you know, even if the article looks like a piece of cake to write. we still use our brains which doesn't cooperate sometimes.i don't know if my reviews have reached that long. anyways, i'll keep those tips in mind....thanks!

One more thing - I use Microsoft word first and cut and paste to the website. You can see the "word count" on the tools options and it will tell you if you've reached 200 words. I write marketing pieces for my company, which means sometimes trying to turn one sentence into 5 sentences or the reverse! Good luck again!
