cat's name

Now that I think about it, the majority of cats I've had since I was a teenager have had people names. The exception is Spaz but we didn't name her. Right now I have Mickey and Iggy. Mickey was named after a baseball player. When I got Iggy, I couldn't think of anything until I was listening to Real Wild Child by Iggy Pop. He's not named after the singer but he can be wild and I liked it. I used to have Joey. Someone else came up with his name because he would sit on his butt and looked like a kangaroo. And Calvin was another who I named after a baseball player.

i like to give my cats peiple names i guess, to name a few my previous cats name was evangelina, another one was misty and the recent one is rita.

what's a cat name? I've had a few cats with people names, but not really that often. Now, I named Oliver after the famous orphan, Oliver Twist, but he was only a week old when we got him. I had a cat named Mitten (a cat name I'd guess) but thats because we called her kitten for the first 2 years of her life. I have had many cats during my 18 years. My current cats name is Izzy or Isabelle. I have also had cats named:lucky,Q,teddy,bootsy and emma

I also have had many cats between my childhood and now. As a child we had names such as Salt & Pepper - Midnight - Smokey and Uni and now as an adult my kids help to name our cats and as of right now their names are Peanut Butter - Sheba - Baby (kids call her Hershey's) and Stripers. So I think it is really a combination that we used to name them.
