But there very few common and known to all.

I got so many verses in mind but here's one of them: Proverbs 3:7
[7] Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
It's not good to be righteous according to his own perception of righteousness. He must conform to God's righteousness.
The Bible contains the will of God and how God sees righteousness. It's time to start reading and consulting the Bible constantly.
