Why Did I Kill a Skunk?

Canada

I understand that everything that happens in my life is because I have attracted it. I don't understand why I would attract this "accident". (I ran over it with my car. It was walking in the middle of the road at night, there was no way to avoid it.) What good does it do for me or for the skunk? Is it a reminder to clean up my stinking thinking? Any ideas? Thank you.

nah its not your fault that the animal got caught in you head lights . It happens a lot , too much . To learn from the experience , maybe slow down a little more on that stretch of road , who knows . I heard that tomato juice might help with the smell or that might be an old wives tails . Anyways good luck , and welcome to Mylot :)

Thanks for the reply bcb :) What happened was, I noticed it right beside me (out the driver's side window) as I was driving past and I saw that it was moving. It walked under the car and got hit by the rear passenger side wheel. The smell wasn't too bad and it's gone now. But I felt bad.

aww poor little guy . Yeah it does make you feel bad when accidents like this happen . On the spiritual side of this , maybe you needed to feel this pain for some reason . maybe you needed to reflect certain issues in your life they you may not be seeing behind you . Maybe something is going on and you need to look at the whole picture. I am not sure , you will be the only person that will know this in the end .

I wouldn't say everything happens because you attracted it. I wonder what makes you think that? I have dodged deer and all sorts of animals while driving. I have unfortunately struck a few no matter how much I tried to avoid them. I have seen people go off the side of the road and get seriously injured to avoid hitting animals. I wouldn't read too much into the skunk incident. You can't analyze everything.
