Of cause, There are bound to be times when you just can't sleep. Instead of tossing and turning, worrying that you're not asleep and counting the hours until your alarm clock will go of, get up and do something : read a book, listen to music , watch TV, catch up on letter or email or pursue some other activity you enjoy . Eventually , you will probably feel tried enough to get back to sleep.
Good dream my friend

Hi pimagro, When I can't sleep which is right now at 4:30am
I stay up responding to discussions on mylot! I just can't
fall asleep. I should be exhausted because me and my
boyfriend were shopping today for about 6 hours and I was
tired from walking around but I just can't fall asleep.
So when I'm not sleepy I just stay here on mylot and look
for discussions to respond to. I had finished my emails
already so I am now looking for others that might interest
me and I found this one! I sometimes will read, but my
boyfriend/roomate is sleeping and I can't read in the bed
so I just will stay on the computer in the kitchen/office
until I can go to sleep. He get's annoyed when I do this
because he doesn't like me staying up all night cause
then I sleep all day and then stay up again all night.

I normally just watch TV. If it's something boring, it won't help, it has to make me be able to take my mind of whatever is getting on my nerves so I will just fall asleep right after it's over. After that I normally fall asleep. But I almost never have this problem!
