Romantic Getaway ~ Where would you go?

I have been putting a lot of thought into the question: Where do I want to spend my first romantic holiday with my new husband? I'm thinking somewhere tropical, like Puerto Rico. Did you know that you can buy a Carribean villa in the middle of the island for less than a two bedroom condo in western Montana?? Makes me want to learn to speak Spanish!
Where would (or have) you spend a romantic weekend with your spouse?

I like a website called 'Escape from America' and it shows how cheap it can be to sell a house in the USA and move overseas. The islands of the Caribbean, Central America and Asia are popular places for people to buy a home. Two years ago I went to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. I think Belize is a very romantic country. I stayed in a tree house there, went snorkeling, saw manatees and climbed Mayan ruins. At the moment I am learning Spanish, whilst thinking of going back to Central America and on to South America for the first time. I had a really holiday in the Seychelles. We hopped over to three different islands. We hired bikes and cycled to the other side of La Digue Island. There we took a walking track and found a deserted beach. Wow! I have been to the Maldives on my own. It looks like the perfect little tropical island vacation. I hope that you find the most perfect romantic getaway.
