Chess

I personally think that chess helps our mental development a lot. The necessity of planning and remembering traps and openings seems like it can help exercise and develop brainpower. That is just what I think...The degree of effectiveness is obviously questionable. What do you think? Does chess increase brainpower? Has chess helped you think more efficiently? How much chess do you play?

i think chess is a good game for mental improvement.. after all i m a District Champion .and have participated in National level chess competitions.........

I agree fully Helios, and to answer your question "How much do you play" I'd say nearly everyday... I know, i sound like a geek now but non of my friends would tell you so. i do not play chess.but i can play china chess.i personally think that it can increase our brainpower
