Had first injection of Synvisc!

I was so scared that it was going to really hurt when I had the injection because someone had told me that it hurt SO bad that they were cussing and saying word that they normally wouldn't say. So, I laid down and "prepared" myself mentally for the shot. It was over and I didn't feel any pain after the doc put some liquid that numbs the area. It was no worst than getting any other shot. Now, I was going to the restroom and when I stood up, I felt a "rip" in my knee. I still have two more injections to go, but when I am done with the last shot I will be having physical therapy to help strengthen up my knee. My 16 year old had asked me that when the shots are done, could we start to bike ride again. I so wish, but I would need one of those adult tricycles to ride because my meds make me off balance at times. Has anyone else had this shot done to help replace the fluid that is missing from your knee?

nope I can't say that I have. My mother has water on the knee from a work related accident but she never said anything about injections, I know she had an operation and that was the end of it.
