Do you know anyone with a gambling problem?

I do know someone with a gambling problem but am not sure the extent it has on their life . I know this person is always looking to borrow money and will often brag about big wins but you never hear of the losses and it seems to be this way with thouse who are heavy gamblers . My uncle lost everything to gambling even the family home when he got in debt to high . A relative of the family ended up buying the house but it still was sad to see it go because it was my Nanny's house and I always thought it would be a place I could go to when I needed to and even though it belongs to a relative , he is not that close of a relative that I would feel comfortable just dropping in .

there are many gamblers around us. i'm not surprised at this. everybody who don't gamble will thin gambling is not good habit. especially for family. it affects family very much. seriously speaking, it will lead family broken, couples depart. , i wish body gamble around me , although i thin it's impossible.

My husband loves to gamble. Before he stopped I have seen him take almost his whole paycheck and spend it on those stupid machines feeding them $20 dollars at a time and if I said anything it was responded that they worked for the money and he'd spend it like he wanted. Well thank goodness those machines were confiscated and the game room closed. Now all my husband does is play poker with his sister and brother in law next door sometimes daily but it is only nickel and dime. Nobody loses or wins over a few dollars. His machine gambling affected us because we were always needing money for bills and it caused alot of stress and strain on our relationship because of it. I am just glad he doesn't do it anymore not to say he wouldn't if a machine suddenly popped up somewhere but fingers crossed I hope one doesn't.

I usually gamble every weekend. I don't know if I have a problem or not, but my Bills are always paid and I never starved yet.
