Eating chocolate may be healthy,but it seems that the only kind that will benefit your heart,isif it? the dark kind, a new study has found. The study was conducted by a team of researchers led by Joe Vinson, a chemistry professor at the University of Scranton. The researchers conducted a series of four experiments They first calculated the antioxidant content of various chocolate products, including dark chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolatemilk made with two different types of chocolate ssyrup and dry hot cocoa mixes. They found that though dark chocolate is so healthy that it can help reduce the risk of heart disease,white chocolate,onthe other hand, provides very little health benefits. The studies also say that TOO much chocolate is bad for you due to the bad fats and the sugar etc. They recommend one ounce of dark chocolate a day. I don't like chocolate too much but I eat CocoVia bars. These are little one ounce bars of dark chocolate with the natural flavanols that benefit the heart. They come with nuts or not and are just the right portion. I know some people who over eat chocolate saying it is good for them. Actually it is only the dark chocolate and only small amounts. Too much and you end up with a lot of fat in your body and not the good kind. So, although I am not a chocolate fan, I do eat one ounce of dark chocolate a day. The CocoVia bars work for me for potion and they have the most flavanols of any I have seen. I don't eat chocolate otherwise. Not a fan of milk chocolate or chocolate milk.

recent studies show that eating chocolates is good for our health especially dark ones.the cocoa has antioxidants which will help lower bood pressure,improve circulaton,improve digestion and appetite.chocolate is a good source of copper and magnesium,which helps regulate heart beat and blood pressure. but eating large amounts of chocolates is bad for your health coz it will lead to weight gain.

i like eating milk chocolates but not that much the wafer ones other than that of kitkat. and i knew the advantages and i eat them for taste and now you have told many more such and will keep on eating more chocolates and yes health matters atleast there is some sweet i can say that it is healthy!!

I read somewhere that eating chocolate helps get rid of depression. It also makes one feel happy. So chocolates are recommended for expectant mothers. But this is a bit controvertial. Most of the doctors say that chocolates, pastries etc are junk food. So one should use it minimally. I love eating chocolates. But I do not eat them regularly. It can spoil the teeth, as well as add unnecessary calories. But I eat them occassionally and it gives me a lot of pleasure.
