I thought that some of you would be interested in reading up on your local weather predictions. I have a link to the Farmers Almanac for you to take a gander at your area! http://www.farmersalmanac.com/ Have you ever looked up the weather for your area in the Farmers Almanac?

I actually went there to see what it was like on the day i was born in the city I was born in. It was 42 degrees as a high and no precepitation. It was foggy in the morning. That explains why I am always in a fog. lol

I am glad that you made your way over to take a look. I have heard folks refer to the Farmers Almanac for years. I think it is awesome how they can be so acurate so far in advanced.. I wish out local Weather Men would just look it up in the Almanac instead of never knowing what they are talking bout...

The Farmers Almanac has been around forever. Predicting precise weather for a certain day may not be easy but general weather patterns are much easier. The weather is cyclical and with a little skill and some historical data predicting general trends becomes quite easy. In the early days of the "Almanac" many of the predictions were taken from Native American Traditions and predictions. Most of those were based on cycles. 17 year locusts, 14 year Tornadoes, 7 year blizzards... These things happen on a regular and relatively predictable schedule as do rainfall amounts, droughts, long summers, harsh winters and the rest. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be what the colleges teach meteorologists.

Yes I have been to the site. lie the almanac it's more than just weather. Takes me back to my youth as an amature astronomer when info from the farmers almanac guided what we looked for in the night sky.
