If you could have super powers.....................

For me, I would like Rogue (X-man) super power, that if I touch someone that I would inherit their power. Even if it was just for a short time. I believe I could do the most help with that super power. I would be a good guy fighting for justice and harmony for the good of the world and the people in it.
So how about you? If you had super powers, what powers would they be? Would you be a good guy/gal or a villian and why?
Sometimes as adults I think we don't take time out to just consider other possibilities, because we have gotten to caught up in our individual lives. This discussion is for everyone that has a moment to consider the What if's in life.

I would like to either be able to read ppl's minds or move things with my mind. I am always curious as to what is going on in ppl's heads. If when they tell you something, the are actually saying what they are thinking, that kind of thing. And with the ability to move things with my minds, well, I could protect myself with having to lift a finger :)

You sure could, better not ever turn evil though.
Then I would have to get close enough to touch you and take your power to defeat you.
Telepathy is a very cool power indeed, but hopefully you wouldn't turn into "Carrie."

Immortality eh? Don't you think you would get lonely when all of your other super or regular human friends started dying off?
What about good or bad? What side would you be on?

I would like to be like Peter Petrelli from Heroes. All he has to do is stand next to people and he just copies their abilities. I would not be a hero or a villain, I would a vigilante or a neutral. I do not like to think of myself as completely good or completely evil. Think of myself as being completely good or completely evil is not very realistic. No one is really completely good or completely evil.

Good answer ~ Peter's ability is so similar to rogues ability.
The only exception is Rogue has to come in direct contact with others first.
Interested view point on the good or bad issue.
That brings another up discussion topic for me.

Well I would love to have a lot of supermans powers since hes my favorite superhero mainly because of the powers he has. But I would also love to have the power to manipulate people so they would have to do whatever I say now that would be one hell of a power to have lol.

I'd love to have Superman's powers as well. Like the first replier said, Superman is my favorite superhero as well. I'd of course be a superhero and not a supervillain. I'd love to be able to go around doing good things and helping people and fighting for what's right and all that.
But if I could only have a limited number of powers, then the ones I would most definitely would want are superstrength, flight, and superhearing.

Two for superman, wow, this is getting more an more interesting indeed.
No X-ray vision or superheat eh? Very cool selection as well, so why would you be the good guy verses the notorious villain?
