I need Halloween decorating ideas

I have just started decorating the house and yard for Halloween. I have a cute little fall decoration in the yard with hay and cornstalks, but I want to do more. Anyone have any tips or ideas? I still have the porch to decorate, and I am stumped on what to do. I want it to look spooky, but tasteful. Ideas welcome....

This is a little on the strange side. When I was a child one piece of halloween yard decore sticks out more than any other. A fake guillatine made of 2x2s cardbord and foil. draped behind over it a scare crow and in front of it a basket full of pumpkins. I thought it was excellent but it may be to gross for some.
