Have you experienced having a loved one die? Can you describe the emotional pain that you have undergone during those times? My grandmother who took care of me when I was still a child until the time I had married, died five years ago. But until now, I can still the pain of life without her. I remember when she died in the hospital, I was in the office then and my husband called me and informed me of her death. I can't describe it but I think I was in a state of denial. That day went on the usual as if something has not happened. But when the time that her casket was already being laid to be buried, I felt that I really can't breathe, and I almost fainted. The feeling of lost is terrible and I do not ever want to feel that same way again.

Losing someone really close to you is hard. I have experienced that several times already, and yet, it is still so painful. When I was 14 I lost my older brother with leukemia, he was just 16 then. Until now, I still miss him and that was 15 years ago. On the suceeding years, I lost my grandma, my grandpa and few uncles & cousins. It is sad when you miss them but later on time heals all wounds and you just have to deal with the loss. I find my peace and strength in knowing that they are already with our Creator and free from all the pain of the world. I just pray for them all the time and I also pray for my owns strength in dealing with such loss. Because I know, sooner or later it will happen again, all of us are destined to retire, its just a matter of who goes first.

You are definitely right. It is a very sad reality that all of us will be getting old and sick and get final rest. But still, it really makes me feel to catch my breath every time I think I will be dying. I love life very much and I think it is one of my weakness and I feel I will cling to life no matter what it takes. And that's what I fear, that God will find a way to let me lose holding on life because He said that we should love Him above all else, even our own life. Do you think God will do that to anyone?
