How would you describe your relationship with your parents?

Me, my brother and my sisters have a good relationship with our parents. I think I could proudly say that they have raised us up so well together that we have a very close ties. They made sure that everyone has his share for an equal love and care including each and everyone's inheritance. More than that, they have provided us with enough advices, experiences and lessons that we can use to survive life. So far we're all doing great in our chosen professions. When the time comes for them to leave us in this earthly life everything won't be that hard (though I just wish they can still be with us for a longer time).

This is a tough question for me, as I was raised with a broken family and I only met my mother when I was already 19. The first meeting was not good so was the second the third. The fourth one was just last year and the biggest difference was she decided to stay with me, and she saw me as a doting father to my children, a loving husband and tireless blogger. Finally, I was matured enough then and she became a better listener. As I mentioned when I was interviewed by a fellow blogger - "I am not proud of being a product of a broken family, but it made me a stronger person."

I agree that situations like that would make one a stronger person -that is IF one sees clearly the pros and cons then take the good and stay away from the bad.
