Well, that is my concern for not persuading my father to buy one. And MANY 360 users are facing the same thing as well, which is the main reasons PS3 fanboys are picking at 360 fanboys. We are not fanboys, but then that is a major concern for me. I don't want interruptions like that when I'm playing. I know they replaced the current models of 360 with a much more reliable chip so that RROD won't happen. Try searching for forums regarding about that one. Does it happen frequently? If it doesn't, maybe I'll still get a 360 of my own in the future. Practically, you're doing nothing wrong with your system. RRODs really happen to many of 360 users.

You're not in the news, aren't you? Bioshock is coming to the PS3, and FF13 will be released for the 360 as well. Anyways the PS3 is not worthless, at least if there are no games it's still a blu-ray player. And of course why would X360 be without games? It has been released earlier than both the Wii and the PS3, and of course development for the XNA framework is in fact, easier and less complicated than operating in a new open-source environment offered by the PS3. I don't want to sound like a fanboy here, but no console is worthless, I just can't accept that. If MGS4 is released for the X360 with the same quality and for only 1 disc, then the PS3 is worthless. Have a nice day. And another one, almost all of the good "exclusives" of the X360 is released on the PC as well, like Mass Effect. So if we PS3 users can't enjoy those, well, we'll just wait for the PC version while you guys keep on thinking why you can't play the PS3 exclusives. Heehee.

I had an XBOX360 and it broke I was really disappointed and ended up selling it for a PS3. A real shame as there are some great games for the 360. I would like another but the reliability puts me off them.

I've heard about this but have yet to experience it. Usually with gaming consoles, it never happens. I would say send it to Microsoft and hope they replace it with a new one. There is no guarantee it will happen that way though but it would be worth it. I've had mine for some time and it hasn't caused me problems.

Ive gotten the red ring twice. the first time i had a warranty at the store so i just had to go trade for a new one without all the waiting. Wasnt so lucky secong time but the free 1 month trial is a decent giveaway for the problems and time you have to wait. Seems like your just having bad luck with the 360s. Good Luck though hope this doesnt keep happening to you.
