Internet has become information hub, what are some of the drawback that it poses

If you look at the internet today literally you will get any and all information and advice you need, as much as it's goodnes there is also the otherside of the internet, false information can corn men, Do you know other disdavantages that it's has

one disadvantage that I find to the internet is the dependancy that people have on it. So when the power goes out, or if a line breaks and people can't use the internet anymore it's almost as if their world stops. I live in Houston and I JUST got electricity back in my area after hurricane Ike, and People literally didn't know what to do with themselves with no internet.
