what are your purpose here in my lot?

When I signed up for mylot I thought I was gonna make real money. So I posted and posted and eventually I realized, I have made lots of friends. The little amount of money you get from posting is not that much really. But the experience here and all the new things you learn from reading and discussing is one thing you cannot seem to find in other sites. So, this site is on the top for me.

well, I come here in mylot for both. I found mylot in one of the writing websites I am engaged in. And when I started to be here, I enjoyed with the discussions and it boost my earnings. All of us knew that we are not getting richer here but, I learn lots of things here and gain lots of friends too. That is the reason why many people keep on coming back here even if they are not earning much but it is fun!!.. think about it!!! who will pay you for making fun like this? posting and discussing? hahaha I think there are still other sites that do this but mylot is more stable than the others.

It is said that - 'anything without purpose is useless exercise'. When I joined here, my purpose here was to interact with members from different countries and cultures, so that I could share my views with them and could learn from their views. Since the time I joined, I added many friends here, who taught me how to write a quality response and what to write and what not to write. There are some very learned and experienced members who not only support you but guide you, as well. I am still learning and keep adding in my list those members, whom I find are like me and who are dedicated to this site. Good Post!

Hi, aisaellis.. ^^v I've read about myLot from another forum way back 2007. At first I have no idea that you can actually earn some money here in myLot. All I knew was that it's a good place to talk about anything. I used to chat on mIRC (are you familiar with that) and read on forums. I don't remember where exactly I saw myLot.. Anyway, that person said that she had posted the same discussion in myLot. She's happy hanging around myLot, and all that beautiful words she'd said. In short, I bought her sales talk. haha! then I saw a post from friendster: do you want to earn money by writing your opinion.. something like that. That was timely, I thought since I really need to earn some money. I was shocked to find out that it's myLot... My story is getting long, don't you think, aisa? So there, in conclusion, I've joined because of the 'incentive' of getting some amount here. But the thing that actually keeps me coming back are the good people with interesting topics. I also come here to share my own experiences, ask for advice (especially being a mom), or sell something. haha! Earning is just an incentive, a bonus.. Will I spend most of time here if I'm only after the money? There are many other sites that can pay more. There's something here in myLot... and that's because of people like you. ^^v

Hello again Aisaellis, As for me, I join mylot for one reason, that is to earn money. After some time of activity i get addicted to it. That is because there are lots of interesting people who post interesting topics you can respond to. Aside from that, most mylot members are very kind and friendly. They make you feel good inside by helping you with your problems, giving immediate response.Moreover, it helps you learn something from time to time just by reading and interacting.. And more thing, it helps me speed up my typing skills and enhance my English speaking. Happy mylotting.

Mylot has become a daily habit with me. I do it everyday. Sometimes I do more and sometimes I do less. Obviously, I like doing it because I am still here. The money is not too bad either. Cheers!!

You are right there you will meet lots of people who will later be your friends. I signed here in MyLot months ago but I didn't even bother posting. I didn't even update my profile. A friend of mine whom I know through a Social Networking site encouraged me to join. So I tried it and I find it fun and at the same time a good way to earn money.

I wonder how do you feel about it now, after another 5 months since you started this discussion. I have been a member since may 2008, and i agree, after my first payment, i got discouraged with mylot, as i also was away a lot from it because of different situations and so my second payment came quite late but i soon realized that apart from the money, i am here for a few friends i made as well.

The reason I'm here is because of my friend. He told me that this site was like Facebook but with money. So, I tried it out and found later that money isn't really the important thing about the site - its the people and the site itself. Well, I still have the little thoughts of money but myLot satisfy overall. Happy mylotting :)

I signed in here inmylot, just because i want to improve my English level. Finding a website that i can communite with people in English is the fist purpose that i came here. As time goes by, i found it is so fun and enjoyable,you can talk what you want, You can communicate with friends that you like, you can start a new discussion that you interest,,,you can even earn money,,It is so nice!!! Here, i have made many friends,including you ELLIS they are so kindly, we communicate and learn with each other,,,i have learned lots of knowledges here...I am a lucky dog!!

i joined here in mylot,primarily to earn xtra income :) and secondly i been hooked up to forums and discusions recently.. so when someone gave me a referral and says that mylot is more than just a chat and earnings but meeting friends from all over.i just keep on posting here and just found out that im enjoying it and being a stay at home mom it keeps my mind going even when im just home :)

Hi aisaellis, I too joined mylot for money. Initially there was much problem to understand the same and have no idea to post new etc. Then I went for hibernation for sometime. In between I am getting Mylot digest regularly in my inbox and it gives the inspirations to join back. The second time I am lucky and got many friends (yes they are good) and got payment too. Now I am not bothered about the money and mylot is a part of my daily life. I really enjoying mylot and learned much from here. How are you dear? Have a nice day.

For me, it's not just about the money. It's more than that. It's also the fact that I enjoy taking part with discussions, responding to them, and reading other people's responses.

My main reason for being on myLot is to earn money. :) But, I also realized that it is SO much more! :) I have made friends here. I learn so many new things every day. You never know what you might end up talking about on any given day. There are so many different categories to choose from. Each day is different. So, I am here for the money AND for the variety of discussions! :)

i joined mylot one week ago....now mylotting has become a hobby for me...it has helped me in many ways.really..i got many solutions from mylot...apart from paying the users, mylot is doing a very good job by helping its users by allowing to post their queries and get solutions from other friends...this is really great...my purpose is not only for money, to meet people around the world and to share my discussions with them...thanx...im happy to respond....happy mylotting.......
