I'm just wondering if there's any good or bad being married? Honest views please?

It's a learning process everyday. No matter how long you've been with your partner, you will learn something different about the person the longer you live together. It's fun being married. You share the chores (and expenses) with someone else). When you have a child, the bond between you grows stronger. In our case, less fights. It's not a bed of roses as people would say but it is definitely worth it if you and your partner love each other enough to stick together literally through thick and thin. Many challenges will come in a couple's married life. it's up to them to work with it or against it to keep the relationship intact.

Does it require a lot of effort? i am thinking you would undergo counseling before tying the knot anyways...

Of course there's always good and bad times in married life. It's just normal. You have to learn how to deal with those situations.

I've been married for 4 months as of yesterday and I don't feel any different at all.

i am not married yet but it feels like i am. i have been living with my fiancee for almost 2 years and it really feels like we are married so i can tell you from my experience it is good. like someone else says you always learn something new about your partner. its not easy at all though, there will be times that you say to yourself "oh god he/she does that" but true unconditional love will let any little quirks just pass you by. as long as you have a great relationship with who you are going to marry or you are married to it is deffinately a good thing.
