does spongebob teach us how to be nice?

I like cartoons,and when I was a kid I watched them all the time,and now me and my fiance still watch cartoons,because I think they teach kids good values and good life lessons,I think SpongeBobSquarePants is a good example because he always has a cheerful attitude no matter what happens,and it can teach kids to be nice even when around arrogant people,like SpongeBob is always nice to his arrogant neighbor Squidward and SpongeBob always goes to work on time which can help teach kids to be more responsible.

I don't like this cartoons. It doesn't teach children values. I don't know why children love it a lot.
