i am an indian and i know this festivals and today is ramzan here and we are celebrating it but its only my family here and it is not so enjoyable like in india meeting all friends and relatives but here i could only speak to my parents over the phone. here also you have a couple of festivals. sorry i didnt mention into which place i am. i am in germany and here the christmas and new year is the greatest festivals and is really good celebration. here people start preparation of this festivals around 2 months before and we can find all very nice nice things in the market to decorate your houses like the santa cushions, santa table covers, beautiful candles, fairy dresses for childrens, different and various kind of chocolates and more things are available in market and the people decorate their houses very well and the whole street houses are alightened. it really looks fabulous and beautiful. we have have santaclaus comming and distributing chocolates to childrens and too more to tell you. now on friday there is a festival called halloween, where childrens dress up in ghost like dresses and go door to door and ask for sweeties. sweeties are nothing but sweets or chocolates. at this festival the people keep very nice showpieces or plants which comes with pumpkins and here they have some tradition of pumpkins so they keep it. in this way there are a few festivals which is seem to be interesting. i hope you liked my explaination about the festivals.
