Louise, I've seen this site before and it's great! But does it help me with my sight? Or site? (just messing with ya!) BTW, scrabulous isn't working. The site seems to have disappeared from the face of the web!

I just took a look at that site and have to say it is wonderful! I signed up for the free newsletter and am looking forward to receiving that in my inbox. I can almost bet this is going to be one of those sites that you can spend hours sifting through and still never scratch the surface of all the good information there. Thanks for letting us know about it and be sure to fill us in on any other little hidden gems you might have.

I have a question about this site that I couldn't ask before because I was learning something, but that is another story..On this site it said 20 healthy food for a $1.00... This site needs to update or maybe where they live it isn't so high, but eggs here is already over a dollar and potatoes, apples and nuts?? Those even in small amounts have been over a dollar here for a few years now..Unless they mean it costs a dollar per serving, if that is the case, the statement is misleading..

I will have to find out where she is then..If she is within a 100 mile radius, it might be worth visiting to stock up on items that don't spoil quickly..

I do believe that she is listing the prices that she can get in her area. She is always bargain shopping.

That is a very good site - there's a lot of useful information there. With the economy the way it is, we need all the help we can get. I have some information of this type on my website - the link is in my profile.

Hillybilly Housewife was one of the very first frugal sites that I discovered. My favorite recipe from there is the garlic bread sticks. I do believe that someone new has taken over the site, it is not the original owner, but don't quote me on that. Hillybilly Housewife was the first site that introduced me to cooking from scratch. Thanks for reminding me about this site, I haven't been there recently.
