My children are 4 years old, 2 years old and 6 months old, so they haven't discovered yet that Santa is not real. My 4 year old knows that he comes and leave presents every year. My 2 year old doesn't understand that yet, but I think he will enjoy this Christmas much more than last Christmas. Of course the baby just has no clue, but I'm sure she will like all of the colorful decorations everywhere when the time comes. I love that time of year and we like to decorate our whole house for it, so it's really nice that the magic is still there for our children. It makes it so much more fun!

My kids are 5 and 8 and they haven't twigged yet! Last year, the 5 year old (obviously 4 then) was saying things like, "I don't think he's real", and "I don't think he could do all that!" But her sister persuaded her that it was all true. So they write a letter listing everything they would like, and Santa chooses ONE item and delivers it to them. I know of a friend, who buys a whole stocking jam packed full of little presents and a big present that Santa delivers - not to mention the present that they also give their kids. It's a massive undertaking which of course only gets more expensive each year. By the way my kids still also believe in the tooth fairy and other fairies too.

What do you mean....I still believe in Santa and I am 44:) I have always told my kids, if you beileve you get gifts from Santa, if not, you don't. My kids are 19, 16, 14 and 8. Yes, the teenagers know there isn't a real Santa, but they wouldn't ever ruin it for their sister. We all look forward to Santa's visit.
