As many of you know I have been fighting for 3.5 months with workers comp to have an mri done and last week it finally happened! Well they were wrong my MRI came back positive. I have a protruding disc which is causing a pinched nerve in my leg, the doctor is referring me to a spine specialist so now I have to wait for that approval. They have denied treatment for my upper back pain stating it is not part of the accident, my doctor totally disagrees stating before the accident I never experienced back pain. She insists that when I go to the specialist to let him know about my upper back pain. She wants to rule out protruding discs in my neck. After lots of research I have the fear of possibly having rsd with the pain I have been experience in my upper body arms and hands. I will be happy if it is just a pinched nerve because that way they can go in and fix it with rsd there is no known cure. Just wanted to give an update. I would like to know if anyone else has rsd?

All of those words sound really painful! Pinched? Nerves? Ouch! I hope you get better as soon as possible, I've never been in any kind of serious medical condition so far, but I really do wish you the best!

I am truly sorry for your pain and suffering. I have never heard of rsd so I couldn't say if anyone I know has it or not. But hang in there and hope and pray for the best, and I will pray for you too. I have problems with my back that they can't do anything about and I have to live with so I know what kind of pain you are going through. So we will hope for the best. God Bless you.

YES I do have RSD I broke my foot in three places a few years ago and it is all pinned and screwed together, with this I now have RSD. it si very painful nerve pain no one can get anywhere near my foot with out pain shooting all over my body. I also have swelling all the time. I dont know where you live but here in usa RSD is automaticaly awarded by social security. I cannot work due to constant swelling and pain.RSD cannot be cured but in some people it dose ease up , in my case it is just as bad today as it was 5 years ago.
