I know this might sound really dumb but most of what I learned about computers I had to learn all on my own and my sister knows a few things but she has a busy life and she dosent have much time to teach me, aside from the occasional phone conversation about computers I pretty much had to figure it out myself and my question is how many e-mail address can you have on one computer my guess 1 is that correct.

There is no limit to how many email addresses someone can have. It is not tied to the computer itself. Your internet service provider might limit you to a certain number, but it has nothing to do with the computer. You can also use free email providers on the internet (yahoo, msn, hotmail, gmail, etc) and have unlimited accounts with them as well.

Sure you could. Are you using the email provided by the company that provides you the service? (like your cable company, or whatever). You can sign up with yahoo or gmail and make as many as you want. Even if you have the one that was given to you, they usually allow more than one.

I have only 1 e-mail address with my internet service provider, can I have a second e-mail with the same internet provider or can I only get a second e-mail address if I go to yahoo or something?

as the person before be said, there is no limit if you are using the emails that are from websites like yahoo, or hotmail. But if you have things like bigpond internet, you can set up only 1 email with them but then you can make as many as you want online. So bottom line is the only reason to make one email is if you have a bigpond email...! Happy mylotting!

You can use and login to as many emails as you want in one computer, provided your email providers (GMail, Yahoo! Mail, HotMail, MSN Mail, etc) are different. That's is you cannot open two GMail accounts or two Yahoo! Mail accounts at the same time in your browser.

i believe you can have unlimited number of emails, because it is online based, and not to your computer.. unless you are talking about email that is provided by your internet service provider.. but for online mails like hotmail, gmail, there is no limit! but.. why do you need many emails for?

Hi apples, you can actually have as many as you can! You can sign in to Yahoo Mail, HotMail, GMail and other free email services! You can also configure your outlook express in your system to receive and send emails using the settings of one email service. I am actually using outlook express and mozilla thunderbird for my emails. I mean, I have multiple accounts and mozilla thunderbird is really great since it allowed me to access 5 email accounts in one window! Really cool!

I think the e-mail u r using might be the one that is provided by ur internet service provider which offers you a limited storage space...there are a large number of mail service providers like yahoo, gmail, hotmail, reddiff which are providing large amount of storage space which may range upto some GB's
