Is there someone who inspires you?

In the course of your life, who has helped you become the person you are today? Was it a teacher, a parent, a neighbor, a friend?? Maybe you have modelled your life after a celebrity? Whoever it is, tell us why that person inspired you and how they helped you become the person you are today. For me, there are two people who helped me define the person I am today. The first was my high school music teacher, who really gave me the motivation and the courage to pursue my music. I had always been a musician, but this man, whom I will refer to only as Mr.V, really helped mold me and make me a better musician. Because of him, I decided to make music a major part of my life. The other person, also a musician, was Garth Brooks. Garth's music and career have been such a huge part of my life that they led me to pursue my own country music career. I now live in Nashville, Tennessee because of my discovery of country music through his incredible songs. So, who inspires you? Tell as much or as little as you care to share.
