laptop by you're side to combat the commercials

i make a necessary point of having my laptop by my side while i watch tv. this is so necessary with all the commercial interupptions as tv channel selections in themselves arent enough to combat commercials flooding the tv waves. one channel i'm watching has a commercial break and at the same time,most others are having a commercial break as well....thats why i have my laptop on and right by my side whenever i sit down on the couch to watch tv. anyone else think the same way?...it just makes clear and perfect sense to this here fella!

I would be doing the same if I had a laptop. Commercials are so boring for the most part. Sometimes a really funny one will come on, but it's a rarity. My tv watching has been low as of late because everyone else wants to watch something completely different from me and of course majority rules. I'll just stick to my computer and watch tv shows and movies on here while doing things I love to do.
